I'm trying to catch up on my blogs, since it has been a year and a half since the last one. Somehow I've let everyday life overtake me. Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know I have a new battle report posted on my gaming blog, "Let the Wookie Win".

Anglo-Saxons
After having to repair a couple of spears, I finally got my Anglo-Saxons ready for dipping. Here they are just before I dipped them.

Peasants...
Warriors...
Hearthguard...
And finally, the Warlord and his Bannerman...

The latest on the Anglo Saxon Project
I put shield decals on most of the "Hearthguard" models. Now I need to paint the shields for the "Warrior" units and do a few final touch ups around the shield rims. At that point everything will be ready for "The Dip".

A few days ago, I was digging through some boxes of old models and came across this one: Matsu Tsuko from the Lion Clan in the Legend of the Five Rings miniatures game. She was good twenty years ago when I painted her, but I think she could use some touch-ups and highlights.
Yet another project on my list...

Last night was Modelin' Monday. My desert Tomahawks are almost ready for decals. I haven't decided whether to do the 112 Squadron sharks' mouths or not, though everyone tells me I should.
Meanwhile, my Anglo-Saxons for SAGA are progressing. Got a second coat of red on the Warlord and his Hearthguard.

I'm working on a new Anglo-Saxon war band for SAGA. While I was back in Missouri visiting the folks, my old college pal, Duane Nelson, graciously contributed some warriors to my effort.
I have the warlord with banner bearer, 12 hearth guard, and 16 warriors, ready for primer coat so far. Next will be the levies — 24 of 'em. Quite the effort.
